The Seema Malakaya on Beira Lake designed by Geoffrey Bawa in 1985, consists three islands bordered by a row of Buddha images. The pavilions – one filled with the Thai bronze Buddhas are especially striking when illuminated at night. This picture depicts the Thai bronze Buddhas at night during Vesak.
